What is sscg 3?

SSCG 3 stands for "The student will demonstrate an understanding of the principles of American constitutional government and the organization and function of government at the national, state, and local levels." It is one of the social studies standards established by the state of Georgia for middle school students.

This standard covers a broad range of topics related to American government, including the history of the Constitution and how it has shaped our government today, the structure and powers of the three branches of government at the national level, the role of state and local governments, the rights and responsibilities of citizens, and the importance of civic participation.

The goal of this standard is to help students understand how our government works, and to prepare them to be informed and active citizens who can participate in our democracy, advocate for their rights and interests, and contribute to the common good.
